If there's one thing we can say about European car makers, it's that most of them seem to have a great sense of humor. Nowhere is this more apparent than on a trip past Volkswagen's Swedish headquarters in Google Street View, where rival auto brand Fiat took the liberty of parking its flagship 500 model right in front of the company's entrance.

Fiat's Swedish base of operations is just 45 minutes away from the VW building, so the prank wouldn't have taken very long to pull off, but just how Fiat knew that Google Street View was in the area is a mystery. But judging by past pre-planned Street View gags, it's clear that once someone spots the car, word travels fast.



Of course, some people are suggesting that the sighting is a rather humorous coincidence, since dozens of vehicles likely roll past Volkswagen's front door every day. However, if you continue following the Street View trail as it makes its way past the building, the Fiat driver clearly has the Google car in his sights, pulling away from the building and following the vehicle for several more shots until abruptly disappearing.

Whatever the case, Volkswagen will have to deal with its new role as a virtual Fiat showroom for at least a year, as that's typically how often Google updates its Street View images. What do you think: Was it an epic prank, or a mere coincidence?

This starbase is between 50-75 years old and situated on a main trade route. The Sector SB-36 takes care of, is regularly swept by ion storms and plasma storms and surrounded on three sides by the Klingon Empire, so it was aptly named Haven, a place of safety.

If that was not enough, Haven is also located in an area of immense power and desirability, magic happens here, as has time travel, enough that Starfleet Intelligence has put a Temporal Division on the Starbase to enforce the Temporal Directive. To add icing on the cake, there is a hunt for a very powerful artifact hidden somewhere in the area by an ancient race who left clues hidden around.

The simm of Starbase Haven is in the Star Trek Universe set in the year 2388, it is PBF and pg-13, it is a proud member of The Band of Brothers Simming Association.

Starbase Haven is a faster pace simm, we average 60 posts a month, but we are not an all blood and glory game either, there is character development (and it is encouraged).

We are an established simm, that has just celebrated its third year, led by an experienced GM with a little over seven years of GMing on two simms (USS Rainmaker and SB Haven). Our group of writers are phenomenal, some of the best writers I have ever worked with.

We are looking to fill a few empty holes, and to bring in new blood and new character stories. It is a joint venture between Starfleet and the Bajoran Defense Force consisting of a colony and space station (DS-28).

In 2383, Starfleet ordered the building of DS-28. The Immense Class starbase would be the center of Federation power in the Gamma Quadrant. It orbits over New Bajor.

Two years later in 2385, humans colonists from Earth's Ukraine settled on New Bajor. These new colonists felt that they needed to return to their ancestral roots and sought out a new world to establish their "Hetmanate". At first welcomed by the Bajorans, tensions have been rising and some fear conflict may soon erupt.

Today, New Bajor is home to over 250,000 residents. The capital city of the Bajoran colony is Jopem (40,000 residents). The Hetmanate, while officially under Bajoran authority maintains a separate capital known as the Sich (15,000 residents).

This includes telling what the character is doing, posting around your tag so they are trapped by your question/response, moving the character without the other players permission.

I have seen it creeping in (more so lately) and we need to be on guard against it.
